AN ABUSED cat taken in by a Cross Roads-based charity needs a new home.
Sam Davies, Yorkshire Cat Rescue centre manager, said one-year-old Wilma and her kittens had been taken from a home where she had been kicked by her owner.
The kittens, which were all healthy and friendly, quickly found new homes. But so far no one has given Wilma a second chance.
Sam said: “Cats that have been abused often struggle to grab the attention of visitors. They hide away or retreat which doesn’t help their chances."
