THE main road running through the centre of Keighley was closed following a crash this morning.
A taxi and another car were involved in an accident at the junction of North Street and Alice Street shortly before 9am.

Police, paramedics and a fire engine were called to the incident, which left debris strewn across the road.
The two cars involved were a Toyota Avensis taxi and a Vauxhall Meriva.
The driver of the taxi was lifted out of his car shortly before 9.30am, placed on a stretcher then put into an ambulance.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said officers were called at 8.50am.
Traffic on North Street was diverted along Albert Street and Campbell Street. The road re-opened at 11.30am.
