STUDENTS at the University of Bradford took part in gruelling 24-hour marathon events to help raise money for charity.
The Students Union building saw events including a 24 hour netball shootout, 24 hour cycling and mammoth film and computer game sessions, all held to fundraise for four charities that were chosen by the students.
Those charities are Bradford Nightstop, which helps homeless young people, Special Autism Services, Marie Curie and Anti-Slavery International.
Taking part in the events were members of the university's various societies, many of whom were giving up their free time during the university reading week to raise as much money as possible.
Union community and welfare officer Subira Ismail said: "These students want to make a difference, and it is amazing that so many of them are willing to give up 24 hours, and to go without sleep for so long.
"It was something the students organised themselves, they decided to get together and do all this for charity.
"They were willing to go without sleep to make as big an impact and raise as much money as possible. It is something students in Bradford are so amazing at."
