TWO singers in the Bradford district will be battling it out this weekend in an effort to impress the judges on The Voice UK and make it through to the knockout rounds of vocal contest.
Faheem Ashraf and Tom Milner both take to the stage again on Saturday night competing against another artist from the same team in a direct showdown.
Faheem, 22, of Wibsey, is part of American singer-songwriter will.i.am's team.
Tom, 24, of Northowram, is the match-day announcer at Bradford City, and is being coached by fellow Yorkshireman and Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson.
Faheem will be battling against Aaron Hill to secure a place in the next stage of the competition, and said that he felt the pressure when they came face-to-face.
He said: "It was a very pressing experience, because I knew that I had to sing against a strong contender and impress Will as much as I did in the auditions.
"Aaron is a phenomenal singer with a big soulful voice; before Will put us together we spoke and said we wanted to go against each other because we wanted to challenge ourselves.
"The whole experience has been overwhelming and I am so appreciative to be a part of The Voice, and the support from Bradford has been phenomenal, everyone has got behind me."
The former Buttershaw Business & Enterprise College student quit his job as an administrator at Virgin Media to pursue a career in music.
At Faheem's blind audition he got one of the fastest chair turns in Voice history, when will.i.am turned after one line of Faheem's performance of Marvin Gaye by Charlie Puth and Meghan Trainor.
Will.i.am said: "Sometimes, a singer doesn't even have to sing for 90 seconds, they can sing for two seconds and I know if they're awesome or not. You've got awesome tones, you got that magic tone."
Actor and singer Tom, who is best-known for his role in school-based television drama Waterloo Road, battles it out against Brooklynne Richards on Saturday night for a place in the knockout rounds.
Ricky Wilson was impressed with Tom's performance at the blind auditions, where he sang Wait On Me by Rixton, telling him: "I heard your voice and thought it was very commercial sounding.
"It was like a safe pair of hands, but I think you have a lot more to give."
After each battle, the artists' own coach will have to decide who will progress to the knockout stage and who is going home.
At this point coaches will.i.am, Boy George, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson can steal a losing contestant for their own team, with each coach getting two steals.
The first of two battles episodes is aired on BBC One at 7pm on Saturday.
