RESULTS of elections for ten new governors at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust will be announced on April 1.
The ten seats offering people the chance to help shape the future of health care become available at the end of March.
Five public governors, two patient governors and three staff governors were being sought to sit on the Foundation Trust's Council of Governors.
The council is made up of four elected staff members, three appointed governors from partner organisations and 12 elected members from the public and patient constituencies, and meets formally five times a year.
Professor Lord Patel of Bradford (pictured), chairman of Bradford Teaching Hospitals Trust, said: "Governors play a vital role in representing the views of local people, patients and staff when important decisions are made about our hospitals."
