THREE people have been hurt in a crash involving two cars at traffic lights in Hipperholme.
It happened at 8.15pm yesterday and shut the junction at Brighouse and Denholme Gate Road with Leeds Road for just under one hour while emergency services worked at the scene.
A woman driver from a white Fiesta was freed by firefighters and taken to Leeds General Infirmary with a suspected spinal injury. A second woman, who was a front seat passenger in the Fiesta and the male driver of the grey Astra were taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital in Halifax with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
A fire spokesman said the collision had happened at the centre of the traffic lights.
