Four men from Bradford have appeared in a Scottish court after being arrested as part of a police drugs operation.

The men were arrested in Inverness city centre on Thursday by police investigating the supply of cocaine, cannabis and amphetamines.

Police Scotland made the arrests following intelligence into the supply of illegal drugs in the Inverness area.

Four men aged 28, 29, 29 and 38 were found to be in possession of both Class A (cocaine) and Class B drugs (herbal cannabis and amphetamines). Police estimate the street value of the drugs to be around £6,500.

The four appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court today charged with numerous drug offences. None of the men entered pleas.

The 29 year old and the 38 year old were remanded in custody until their next court appearance, scheduled for February 26. The two 29 year olds were granted bail until their next court appearance.
