BRADFORD Festival Choral Society (BFCS) will perform Bach’s St John Passion at Bradford Grammar School on Saturday, March 12
The 100-strong choir will be accompanied by the Northern Baroque Sinfonia, who will play period instruments to give the performance an extra ring of authenticity.
Maggie Eisner, chairman of BFCS, said: "I hope many people will want to experience this rare opportunity to hear this piece in Bradford.
"We are giving free tickets to under 18s as part of the choir’s aim to open up choral singing to younger people.
"One night could open up a lifetime’s love of choral singing."
Adult tickets cost £15, with £12 for concessions.
They are available on the door, or via www.bradfordfestivalchoralsociety.org.uk.
