Bradford Council's Adult Services department is helping to encourage older members of the district's Ukrainian, Russian and Serbian communities to find out more about the services which are available to them.
The get-together, called Connecting with Communities, will be at Ukrainian Centre in Legrams Lane, Bradford, on Thursday.
There will be guest speakers including a dietician, a foot care specialist and a representative of the PCT at the event, which runs between 11am and 2.45pm.
People will also be able to find out about the new adult social care services available to them and there will be presentations on how to stay healthy, Housing for Health and some gentle exercises.
Tea and coffee and lunch will be served.
To book a place contact Julie Worthington, promotions officer, on (01274)431573.
