ROMANTICS at a chocolate beer festival in Bradford have helped raise money for a cancer charity.
Real ale enthusiasts at Death by Locale chocolate festival at Jacob's pub in the city centre put £20 in the charity pot during the special event on Valentine's Day in return for red roses.
Bradford brewer Michael Coffey, pictured, who runs the Hedge Row Brewing Company from his home off Haworth Road was just one of the local brewers whose coca-inspired concoctions were featured on the day.
He was on hand to answer any questions from drinkers wanting to know more about the brewing process.
Money from the roses, which had been donated to sell from the bar, will go to Bradford & Airedale Cancer Support, said landlady Christina Wagstaff.
Mrs Wagstaff said: "We've had a pot on the bar for Cancer Support since we took over the pub. Every little bit we can give helps."
