A weather warning has been issued for West Yorkshire for ice.
The Met Office said rain and some hill snow would clear from the west during the course of this evening, with the cloud thinning to allow the temperature to fall below freezing overnight and early in the morning.
“Please be aware of the risk of ice on untreated surfaces,” the spokesman added.
The yellow alert, meaning people should be prepared, is in place from 8pm today, until 10am tomorrow.
