A DRIVER fled the scene after a crash that left a car on its roof and a woman with a broken leg.
At 10.06pm yesterday a blue Vauxhall Corsa was involved in a one vehicle crash on Halifax Road, Buttershaw.
The crash left the car on its roof, on top of a crushed picnic table outside The New Furnace pub.
The driver fled the scene immediately after the crash, leaving two teenage girls in the wrecked car.
One of the girls, aged 17, was rushed to Bradford Royal Infirmary (BRI) with a suspected broken leg. The other girl, also 17, was uninjured, but taken to BRI as a precaution.
Police say they are aware of the identity of the driver, and are making enquiries to locate them today.
No other cars were thought to have been involved in the crash.
Two bollards were damaged when the car left the road, and two picnic tables destroyed. Firefighters from Odsal and Bradford stations attended, as did two rapid response vehicles and two ambulances from Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
