Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving an ambulance and two cars.
The casualties involved a woman driver whose car was involved in an accident with a Skoda rapid response vehicle on its way to a 999 emergency.
The crash happened on Leeds Road at its junction with Shipley Airedale Road just before 7pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service said the woman was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary to be "checked over" for injuries which were not thought to be serious.
The Skoda ambulance was on its way up Leeds Road to give treatment to a 56-year-old man who had been knocked down.
A second ambulance took the injured pedestrian to Leeds General Infirmary where his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The road was closed at the junction with Birklands Street until 9.39pm.
A 28-year-old male driver has been spoken to by police and the car recovered. Enquiries are continuing.
