AN AWARD-WINNING fundraiser is calling on people to join him for Britain's Biggest Breakfast in aid of Cancer Research UK.
Andy Jackson, 45, who has received a British Citizen Award for his fundraising efforts, is calling on people to bring out the breakfast bowls and get involved.
Cancer Research UK is calling on people to hold or attend a breakfast event on Friday, March 11, or any time during the month.
It is encouraging people to organise a breakfast party at home, in the office or at school and invite their friends and family to make a donation to attend.
Mr Jackson, of Holme Wood, Bradford, is holding his own breakfast bonanza at The Bradford Hotel, Hall Ings, on Friday, March 11, served from 7am to 10am.
Tickets cost £7 in aid of the charity and cover a buffet cooked or continental breakfast with tea and coffee.
Mr Jackson said: "We all know someone who has been affected by cancer so this is a great way to raise some money while doing something we all enjoy - eating.
"I want people to put breakfast top of the menu this March and invite friends and family to get involved."
