All six women were released on bail and ordered not to enter North Yorkshire, and four of the six have now been charged, say North Yorkshire Police.
A 51-year-old was charged with theft from a shop and handling stolen goods.
A 36-year-old was charged with going equipped for theft and handling stolen goods.
A 25-year-old was charged with theft from a shop.
A 16-year-old was charged with handling stolen goods. She is due before York Youth Court later this month, and the others will appear before York Magistrates Court.
All four remain on bail, and have been ordered not to enter North Yorkshire until their court dates.
