A BOY aged 16 has been caught driving his brother's Volkswagen Golf around Bradford - with two schoolboys as passengers.
Police seized the Golf after it was driven towards them at speed on Emm Lane, Heaton, on Wednesday.
According to an officer, the driver "didn't have much road sense".
Police said the two passengers, also 16, were on their school dinner break when the driver decided he would go for a "spin" in his older brother's car.
Due to the driver having no insurance and only a provisional licence the vehicle was seized.
The teenage driver was then taken back home and spoken to with his father. He has been reported for driving matters.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "It was quite evident from the driver's manner that he didn’t have much road sense.
"Fortunately the male had not travelled far and the driving was nipped in the bud early, preventing any harm or damage coming to not only the juveniles in the vehicle but for other law abiding road users also."
