AN inquest into the deaths of tragic couple Margaride Rufino and Anthony Roberts (pictured) is expected to be opened early next week.
Ms Rufino, 38, known as Guida, a partner with an occupational health firm, and Mr Roberts, a 37-year-old teacher, were pronounced dead at their home in Cross Road, Idle, on Sunday evening.
Police are treating the incident as a murder/suicide investigation.
Ms Rufino died from multiple stab wounds. Mr Roberts died from a single wound to the leg.
Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Ian Scott said no date had yet been fixed for the inquests to be opened, but it was likely to be early next week.
He said forensic investigations at the house had now been completed but the property remained cordoned off with other inquiries still ongoing at the scene.
Officers are continuing to question witnesses and associates of the couple to establish what may have led up to the incident.
