Campion may have missed out on the Premier Division title again but they still finished the West Riding County Amateur League season in a flurry of silverware.
After losing out to Bay Athletic for the league championship at the end of 2005-06, Campion's chances of taking the title last season were lost in the first nine games when they managed only nine points.
But a late surge, in which they won eight of their last 11 league games, enabled them to finish in third place - and then came the fireworks.
Campion concluded their most successful season since joining the County Amateur League by lifting the West Riding County FA Challenge Cup for the first time with a 2-1 win over Golcar United in the final.
Then 72 hours later they made it a knockout double by retaining the Premier Division Cup after beating the same opponents 4-0.
Wibsey's consistency enabled them to secure the Premier Division title after winning 18 of their 26 games, scoring 92 goals and losing on just four occasions.
Their only disappointment came in the Bradford FA Saturday Senior Cup final when they lost 2-1 to Bradford Park Avenue.
Tyersal failed to live up to the early-season form that had seen them up with the leaders as, without a victory in their final nine games, they finished in tenth place - only seven points above relegated Hall Green United.
Division One pre-season promotion favourites Meltham Athletic lived up to expectations and were crowned champions with five games remaining.
But the runners-up spot went down to the final game of the season, when Keighley Shamrocks booked their place in the top flight by finishing two points ahead of Overthorpe after beating Littletown 5-1 Heckmondwike Town suffered a double relegation after dropping out of the Premier Division at the end of 2005-06 as they were only able to win five of their 26 games and finished in bottom place.
Ventus/Yeadon, promoted into Division One after Westbrook YMCA pulled out at the start of the season, failed to take their chance and ended the season by being relegated back into Division Two.
Bronte Wanderers, who took Keighley Lifts' place in Division Two, won promotion and the championship in their first season, scoring 100 goals in the process.
Rawdon Old Boys, back in the league after a four-season absence, finished in fourth place - behind the reserve sides of Tyersal and Brighouse Town - while Crag Road United, who promised much at the start of the campaign, were fifth.
Farnley were the runaway champions of the Reserve Division, losing only one of their 24 league games, with Golcar United taking the runners-up spot.
