The roof of an end terraced home was destroyed in an attic fire today.
No-one was in the property in Denholme Road, Leeming, near Oxenhope, when the fire broke out at about 11.45am.
Neighbours raised the alarm when they saw the roof on fire. Firefighters from Keighley, Illingworth and Halifax tackled the blaze from an aerial platform above the house.
The roof was destroyed and some parts of the property were water and smoke damaged.
The cause was being investigated by firefighters.
