A historic Town Hall clock looks set to strike again within weeks after a row over health and safety.
Time had been standing still in Yeadon after Leeds City Council health and safety officials decided the town hall clock was too dangerous to wind up any more.
But it is expected to be back in action by the end of June with the anticipated implementation of a scheme to electrify the winding mechanism.
