A fundraising concert for cancer patients is being held at Idle Fire Station next month.
The gig, called Rock Against Cancer, has been organised by firefighters David Burke, of white watch, and Steve Dakin, of green watch.
"I've got a friend who had a breast removed due to breast cancer and one of my girlfriend's relatives works at Bradford Royal Infirmary's cancer care ward, so we decided to raise money for that," said Mr Burke.
"The gig will be in the engine house and will feature two Yorkshire bands, The Lost Weekend and The Grimshaws, who are playing for free.
"There will be a bar, a pie and pea supper and a raffle. The first prize is a weekend for two in Dublin and the second prise is a widescreen TV."
- The Rock Against Cancer gig is at Idle Fire Station, Highfield Road, Idle, on Thursday, June 21, at 7.30pm. Tickets, costing £5, are available on (01274) 613103.
