Mothers of children at a Manningham school helped with a litter-pick.
Mums helped clean the streets around Atlas Primary School, in Lincoln Close, as part of Bradford Council's Clean Sweep campaign.
Children then received advice on the importance of taking litter home and disposing of it responsibly.
Councillor Anne Hawkesworth, the Council's executive member for environment and culture, said: "These mums are setting a great example to their kids and are giving something back to their community."
