Paul Pratt, aged 22, of Portsmouth Avenue, Wapping; two counts of causing unnecessary suffering to chickens, £1,400 costs, 12 months' community order, 80 hours' unpaid work, disqualified from having custody of a specified animal for an indefinite period. Mohammed Shaqar Sultan, aged 21, of Toller Lane, Heaton; two counts of breach of curfew order, order revoked and dealt with in respect of the original offence; dealt with for the original offence of theft, £55 costs, 12 months' conditional discharge.
