A GROUP of homeless people, who were sleeping rough under the arches near Forster Square railway station in Bradford, have been moved on.
Police and council workers stepped in today following complaints from members of the public.
Charity outreach workers were also on hand to engage with the three people to try to find them proper accommodation, as their belongings, including a Christmas tree, were loaded on to a council truck.
One charity worker said they had directed the three people to places where they could get free food and would be trying to find them somewhere to live.
He said: "People fall on hard times at any time of the year. We will try to get them into permanent homes. The police have got to take action if people complain."
