Could former City winger Des Hamilton be the first player to score at both the old and the new Wembley Stadium?

He was on target in the Bantams' 2-0 play-off victory against Notts County in 1996 and the 30-year-old will return to the national stadium on July 15 for the final of the FA Umbro Fives.

Hamilton is in the NBK team who qualified for Wembley via the Yorkshire heat after a dramatic third and fourth place play-off and therefore will become the first Bradford team to play at the revamped venue.

Their hero was goalkeeper Mohammed Shakeel, who saved a sudden-death penalty in the Super 16 stage.

Having emerged as group leaders after an 8-0 defeat of West Hull and a 4-0 triumph over Leeds-based BACCA - skipper Sandeep Ram getting all 12 goals - NBK were almost derailed by the Vikings.

Despite dominating play, NBK could not find a second goal, including missing a penalty, and paid the penalty when the Vikings equalised with virtually the last kick of normal time.

However, Shakeel saved their last penalty and Mohammed Ismaeel smashed home the next spot-kick to put NBK through.

Relieved, they then defeated Football World to clinch their Wembley berth with goals from former Newcastle player Hamilton, Usman Hussain and Akif Waseem, who netted from the halfway line.

Ram said: "The lads played out of their skins - I'm proud of every one of them - but Mohammed Nadeem deserves special praise after being named man of the match five times during the tournament."
