A gifted young footballer from Bingley hopes to represent his country on the international stage after being selected for a trial in London.
Eldwick Primary School pupil and goalkeeper, Reece Simpson, ten, was identified as one of the best youngsters in Yorkshire at regional trials in Leeds and has a chance to play for England in the Danone Nations Cup, in France next month.
Professional coaches from Arsenal, Charlton and Tottenham will be watching when he takes part in the finals of the trials at Fulham FC's training ground.
He will join 84 other under 12s competing in a tournament, with the winning team selected as England's representatives in the international competition held at the Stade de Gerland in Lyon in front of 32,000 people.
