A decision on plans for 45 apartments on the site of a former nursing home will not be made until next month.
It follows a meeting of Bradford Council's area planning panel for Bradford, where councillors agreed to refer the matter to the regulatory and appeals committee.
The scheme would mean the Victorian building that was Chellow Mount Nursing Home, in Chellow Dene, being demolished to make way for 39 one-bedroom flats and seven two-bedroom flats.
