A man who is banned for life from every NHS hospital in the country was arrested after being taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary by ambulance.
Norman Hutchins, 56, has a "sexual fetish" about medical equipment, garments and staff, the city's magistrates were told.
The lifelong ban, which also includes dentist surgeries and private health clinics, is part of an anti-social behaviour order imposed in January 2005 by a judge at York Crown Court for offences of deception and threatening behaviour.
It prevents him entering any of the premises without first informing the staff, a doctor or the ambulance service that he has an ASBO.
On Sunday night he phoned for an ambulance, claiming he had been assaulted and needed medical attention, said prosecutor Patrick Fleming.
On arrival at Bradford Royal Infirmary he simulated abdominal pains, but a staff nurse in the A & E department recognised him and alerted security staff who then called the police.
Hutchins, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to breaching the ASBO. He was remanded in custody to be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court next month.
Mr Fleming said Hutchins, who was only released from prison earlier this month, had been given a letter by the police advising him that he was still subject to the ASBO.
Alan Petherbridge, mitigating, said Hutchins had genuinely felt the need to call the ambulance service on Sunday night.
He said his client, who he had known for the past 15 years, had spent most of his time in the Bradford area and was now living at a hostel for homeless men in Manningham.
