A man will be joined by his two children at this weekend's Bupa Great Manchester Run.
John McCamon, of Cowling, near Skipton, will be tackling Sunday's 10-kilometre race for the fourth time, while nine-year-old Sian and six-year-old Ella, will be taking part in Saturday's children's races.
The 32-year-old, a foreman at JN Bentley in Skipton, is running the race to raise money for Cancer Research - after his sister, Theresa, died from lung cancer five years ago.
Mr McCamon said he was hoping to beat his best time of 41 minutes and 52 seconds.
"I'm really looking forward to it, the atmosphere is amazing," he said.
His oldest daughter, Sian, will be taking part in the junior 1.5-mile run, while Ella will be taking part in the mini one-mile run.
The girls, above, will be raising money for children's cancer charity, Candlelighters.
