Four volunteers at Haworth Riding for the Disabled have trained for and passed an NVQ in horse care.
Laura Bland gained anNVQ level one along with her instructor's certificate and passed the British Horse Society riding and road safety exam.
Helen Crabtree achieved NVQ level two and her group instructor's certificate.
Sheila Morton gained an NVQ level one and Jane Lawrence gained an NVQ level two, group instructor's certificate and passed the British Horse Society riding and road safety exam.
Instructor and secretary of the group Jackie Butterfield said: "This is a way of giving the volunteers something back. They give all their time for free and now they have a qualification."
Three more volunteers are currently studying for their NVQ level one in horse care.
