Steeton Male Voice Choir will be giving a concert in St Peter's Church, Addingham, on Saturday, June 2, at 7.30pm, in memory of Gil Davies.
Mr Davies was a member of the choir for many years, including a term as chairman. He was also a lay reader at St Peter's, Addingham, for the three years before his sudden death in 2005.
Vicar of Saint Peter's, the Reverend Andrew Tawn, said: "It would not be possible to have the choir here without thinking of Gil so we decided to make it a special memorial concert and give the proceeds to charity.
"I am sure that Gil would be delighted to know that good works are still being done in his name."
All the proceeds from the ticket sales will be given to The Living Wells Appeal, a project launched by the Bishop of Bradford to make new wells and provide clean water to the areas of Pakistan still devastated by the earthquake in 2005.
Tickets cost £5 and are available in advance from Janet Davies on (01943) 817602.
