The destination of the T&A League title lies firmly in the grasp of current Premier Division leaders IMS Celtic and maximum points from their remaining fixtures will confirm the outcome.
But defending champions West Horton will not be giving up the trophy without a fight and showed their resolve with an 8-2 win at Abundant Life.
They built up a four-goal cushion before the interval with two goals apiece from Fisal Ali and Ebad Rashide.
The second half was more of a contest as the hosts hit back with strikes from Darren Harrison and Ryan Taylor.
But Rashide went on to complete his hat-trick and a double from last year's leading scorer Sultan Khan, plus a further strike by Zahid Youniss, secured the points for Horton.
League Cup winners U-Save Albion also kept up the pressure at the top with a useful 2-1 home victory over a solid East Bowling outfit.
And Ventnor Youth moved off the foot of the table with only their second victory of the season, seeing off visiting Dynamo All Stars 2-1.
It took an hour for Youth to break the deadlock through Gurpreet Singh but just five minutes for Khaled Sached to equalise for All Stars, who had earlier missed a penalty.
There was then a rousing finish by the hosts as Jaswant Chata hit the winning goal from 30 yards.
