One lucky youngster will get to star in Bradford Council's School's Out activity guide for this summer - as a cartoon character.
To win a chance of getting featured, children need to send in their name, age, interests, favourite film, hair and eye colour, and height - if picked, an illustrator will develop a cartoon-like character based on them.
Some 75,000 guides will be handed out to primary schools and youth groups with copies being available at sports centres, pools, museums, libraries and tourist information centres. The guide is all about luring youngsters away from the telly and computer during the long holidays and getting them involved in other activities from dance to canoeing and skateboarding to wrestling.
Bradford council's Head of Sport and Leisure Steve Warner said: "Our summer programme of activities is jam-packed with all sorts of things to do for youngsters and there is, as always, something for everyone.
"This year, for the first time, there is also the chance for one lucky person to become the star of the guide by entering our really fun competition."
As well as sporting activities there will be a wide range of events happening in the parks, museums and galleries across the district such as abstract sculptures, exhibitions, music and rhyme sessions and the chance to learn craft skills.
To enter the School's Out competition, send entries to daniel.east@bradford.gov.uk or to Daniel East at Room 6, City Hall, Bradford, BD1 1HY. All entries must be in by Friday.
