Bradford firm ISG Totty Building has started work on a £1.5 million fast-track contract to covert a former school into a new facility for the University of Chester.
The Kingsway site will provide higher education facilities for about 800 students at the fast growing University, and community use of some of the resources will be encouraged.
ISG Totty Building will be undertaking a comprehensive refurbishment programme across a range of one, two and three-storey buildings. They will be upgraded and modernised in time for the start of the new academic year in September 2007.
