A man stabbed in an early morning incident is being treated in Airedale General Hospital, Steeton.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said the injury to the victim in his 20s was not life threatening.
A 40-year-old man was being questioned by detectives in Skipton in relation to the stabbing.
It happened at about 7.30am today in Station View, off Broughton Road.
No charges had yet been put and there was no appeal for witnesses.
