A 59-year-old man charged with sex offences against a child has been told his trial has been listed to start in October.
Edward Weaver, of Stott Terrace, Eccleshill, faces a total of 25 allegations which date back to the 1990s.
He has been charged with three offences of rape along with 22 allegations of indecent assault.
Weaver made his first appearance before Bradford Crown Court today and was told a trial date had been set for October 22.
Judge Roger Scott also told Weaver that he would have to return to the crown court on July 19 for a further pre-trial hearing.
Weaver was released on bail with the conditions that he lives and sleeps at his home address, does not contact six named prosecution witnesses and does not have any unsupervised contact with a child under 16.
