A former chaplain of Bradford Cathedral will return to the city as a guest speaker at The Friends of Bradford Cathedral's annual talk. The Venerable Judith Rose was appointed as Chaplain to the Cathedral Congregation in 1981, before women priests were ordained. She was the most senior woman in the Church of England when she became the first woman archdeacon after she was ordained in 1994. The free talk, called Coming Full Circle, will be on Saturday, May 20 at 3pm. Donations are welcome and refreshments will be available afterwards. To reserve a seat call the Cathedral office on (01274) 777720.
