Hamish Morrison has been appointed corporate finance partner with expanding accountancy firm Horwath Clark Whitehill.
He will head the corporate finance function across the firm's three Yorkshire offices.
And his brief will be to develop the department's portfolio, particularly its mergers and acquisitions business.
Mr Morrison moved to Yorkshire from his native Scotland 11 years ago to train in Leeds. After qualifying, he spent seven years with one of the city-based international firms, specialising in mergers and acquisitions and becoming assistant director, corporate finance.
He has specialised in work with a private equity focus - such as on a management buyout at GHD, Silsden, the global professional hair care and beauty products group.
