A charity dinner in memory of a restaurant manager's son pulled in the pounds to help the poor and needy in Pakistan.
The dinner, at the Balti House, Albert Street, Keighley, saw around 300 people join together to raise £3,000 for the Ibrahim Trust.
The trust, set up last year by Balti House manager Mohammed Zamir Hanif, was named after his son Mohammed Ibrahim, who died aged 11 from a rare metabolic disorder.
In his honour, the trust has helped to provide free medical health care and an ambulance service, and has allocated surgeries, to help people living in Jabbar, near Gujar Khan.
A raffle and auction was held at the dinner, with prizes donated by local businesses.
Since the trust was set up in June last year, Mr Hanif said it had helped around 500 people and it is now looking to expand its facilities to help even more people.
Following on from the night, three volunteers, including Balti House workers and a friend of Mr Hanif, are set to run the Leeds Half Marathon on May 13 to raise funds for the trust.
If anyone would like to support the cause they can contact Mr Hanif on (01535) 611600.
