A driver was taken to hospital after his vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with a van during rush hour.
The man, believed to be Polish and in his twenties, is said to have suffered minor injuries in the incident.
It happened at around 4.50pm today on Manchester Road at its junction with Mayo Avenue.
Watch manager Bob Yorke, of Odsal Fire Station, said: "The driver of the car, a Mazda, suffered minor injuries and stayed in his car until we arrived.
"He did not have to be cut free but looked to be in shock.
"There was no need to close either road as traffic was able to get around the crash scene, although it was busy as the incident occurred during rush hour."
The driver was taken to Bradford Royal Infirmary.
His female passenger, also Polish, was unhurt in the incident.
The male driver of the Transit van and a male passenger were also uninjured in the smash which badly damaged both vehicles.
Police accident investigators were at the scene.
