Here is the next generation of Bradford's potential supermodels - the winners of the Telegraph & Argus Modelsearch 2007.
Hundreds of people turned out yesterday to see the youngsters strut their stuff on the catwalk in the finals of the competition at Bradford's Kirkgate Centre.
Overall winners Alisha Briscoe, eight, and Oliver Bell, 23, have earned a year on the books of Sheffield agency DK, which supplies models to department stores and mobile phone and food companies.
Previous winners of the competition have gone on to model for Argos, Empire Stores and Vidal Sassoon, among others.
Modelsearch spokesman Michael Knowles said the atmosphere at the finals had been superb.
He said: "We travel around the country holding these competitions and you could not hope to go anywhere where the people are more friendly than in Bradford - it is a particularly warm atmosphere.
"People are very supportive of all the contestants, they do not just cheer their own people on.
"It is a community activity that seems to draw out the best in people."
Oliver, of Harrogate Road, Greengates, Bradford, an engineer at Initial Textiles Services, said: "I hadn't really thought about modelling before, to be honest, they just came up to me in the street and asked if I wanted to give it a go.
"I was proper nervous all the way through but I was over the moon when I heard my name called out."
Alisha's mother, Joanne Briscoe, 25, of Festival Avenue, Shipley, said she was immensely proud of her daughter, a pupil at Glenaire Primary School, Baildon.
She said: "It was my friend who said if she entered then she would win. I'm so proud of her - I always thought she could win.
"It's everything she wants to do, she's always singing and dancing in her bedroom."
The 120 finalists, some as young as four, had been whittled down from more than 400 hopefuls who had entered this year's competition. The winners of each category received £50 shopping vouchers for the Kirkgate Centre, with the over-16 winners receiving £100 of vouchers.
Catherine Riley, Kirkgate Centre manager, was one of the judges.
She said: "It has been so tough judging all the categories as the calibre has been very high. We have a photographer on the judging panel and he says he could work with all of them."
Photographs of each of the entrants are available from the Kirkgate Centre's Information Bureau or at www.modelsearch.co.uk.
