Queensbury took a trip back in time as it celebrated its second 1940s Day.
The event started last year, and organisers hope it becomes a regular part of village life. Held on Chapel Street, the day featured military vehicles, songs and music from the period, a fun fair and plenty of people in wartime fancy dress.
Stuart Walker, one of the organisers, said: "It was excellent. there was a lot more happening this year than last year, it was much bigger. People didn't want to leave at the end."
