British Transport Police are investigating the man's death
A MAN has been killed by a train at New Pudsey railway station today.
A British Transport Police spokesman said: "BTP officers were called to New Pudsey station after receiving reports just after 3pm today that a person had been struck by a train.
"BTP officers attended along with West Yorkshire Police and the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
"A man has been pronounced dead at the scene and officers are currently working to identify him and inform his family.
"The incident is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
