Woman in court charged with keeping West Bowling brothel
A WOMAN has appeared at Bradford Crown Court charged with keeping a brothel in the city.
Maria Maxim, 21, was one of a number of people arrested when police raided a house in Brompton Road, West Bowling, Bradford.
Maxim, of Longbridge Road, Dagenham, Essex, denied keeping a brothel to which people resorted to for the purposes of prostitution, on October 20 last year.
The court heard yesterday that she admitted being at the premises and having sex with men but said she had no managerial role and the tenancy was not in her name.
A trial date of October 14 was set and her bail was extended to that date.
