When we were a little older we played football on the village green, enjoyed a round of golf on the local golf course, and later we went to the nearby pub which served great food.

“I even used the Mill Pond for last year’s ice bucket challenge which was so popular. It was the middle of winter and the water really was icy. I wouldn’t recommend it.”

“It was an idyllic place where, when we were 12 or 13, we could disappear for hours at a time, just having fun, fishing and watching the swans and kingfishers. And with the house came a wonderful local community.”
