A WOMAN was taken to hospital after she crashed her Vauxhall Corsa into the back of a parked Toyota van in Whetley Lane, Bradford.

Fire crews used cutting equipment to remove the Corsa's roof before the driver, a woman in her 40s, was lifted from the vehicle. Her injuries were not thought to be life threatening. She was talking as fire crews rescued her from the damaged Corsa.

The incident happened on Wednesday evening at around 7.25pm near to the Chach Valley takeaway.
The cause of the incident is being investigated by police.
