POLICE were called to a town centre after two bottles of accelerant were found near a bank.
Officers went to Northgate, in Baildon, at 9.26am to reports of the bottles being left on the pavement near Santander.
A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 9.26am after two bottles containing what was believed to be an accelerant were found on the pavement in Northgate, Baildon.
"Officers attended and discovered one of the bottles had been ignited, causing burn marks to the pavement.
"No damage was caused to any property and no one was hurt.
"Enquiries are continuing into this incident, which is believed to have occurred at around 4am today and anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
