STAFF at Leeds Building Society have raised £1,200 for a Mirfield special school by completing the Great Yorkshire Bike Ride.
A total of 11 cyclists finished the 73 miles from Wetherby to Filey, donating the money to Hollybank Trust, which provides care to around 100 disabled children and adults.
Paul Smith, from the society's property services department, finished second out of a field of 2,000, completing the ride in three and a half hours.
Stephen and John Wadham tackled the course on a tandem, finishing the race in five hours.
Further donations can still be made at virginmoneygiving.com/team/leedsbuildingsociety.
