THE teacher stabbed at a Bradford school last week is "improving" in hospital, police have said.
Vincent Uzomah, 50, was injured in the incident at Dixons Kings Academy, in Lidget Green, on Thursday.
A 14-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in Bradford and Keighley Youth Court on Saturday charged with the attempted murder of Mr Uzomah.
He is denying the charge and the case is set to progress to trial.
Mr Uzomah, from Leeds, received a single stab wound to the stomach while working as a supply teacher in the school.
