The incident happened on board the 8.26pm Manchester Victoria to Leeds service at about 9.30pm on Thursday, June 4, shortly after the train left Bradford Interchange.

PC Daniel Connelly, of BTP, said: “Unwanted sexual behaviour of any kind will be not tolerated anywhere on the rail network and we take all reports of this nature seriously.

“This clearly must have been an unpleasant and distressing experience for the passengers on board and I would urge anyone who was travelling on the train and who witnessed the incident to please come forward and speak to us.”
